[use in questions, negative sentences and with “hardly”; use “somebody/someone” in positive sentences – I can see somebody, or – I told someone about it]
Do you see anybody? – No, there isn’t anybody here. Did you tell anyone? – No, of course I didn’t tell anyone.
2. だれでも、どの人も
a person but no one special
[use in questions and negative sentences; use “somebody/someone” in positive sentences – I can see somebody, or – I told someone about it][“everybody” = all members of a group, “anyone” = people in general]
Anyone can do it.
